Lexani, Asanti, Vossen and Forgiato Wheels in Riverside: Luxury Wheel and Tire Packages Installed Right

Custom wheel on a black luxury vehicle

Nothing changes the look of a vehicle faster than wheels. The right set transforms a stock truck into a statement and turns a luxury sedan into something that looks custom from every angle. The wrong set, or the right set installed the wrong way, can cause vibration, rubbing, sensor warnings, poor handling and expensive damage. At Advanced Car Stereo Riverside, we sell and install complete wheel and tire packages, from proven off-road brands to luxury names like Lexani, Asanti, Vossen and Forgiato, and we treat fitment as an engineering problem, not a guess.

This guide explains the technical side of wheel fitment, how cast, flow-formed and forged wheels differ, the brands we recommend for every style and budget, and how our team mounts, balances and aligns a package so it rides as good as it looks. Our financing options make it easy to get the set you actually want.

Wheel fitment explained: the numbers that matter

Every wheel has a set of specifications, and every one of them has to be right for your vehicle.

Diameter and width

Diameter (for example 20″, 22″, 24″ or 26″) sets the look and the tire sidewall height. Width (for example 9″ or 10″) determines how wide the tire can be and how far the wheel extends inward and outward.

Bolt pattern

The bolt pattern, such as 6×139.7 (6×5.5) on many trucks or 5×120 on many European cars, must match your hub exactly. “Close enough” is never acceptable.

Offset and backspacing

Offset is the distance from the wheel’s centerline to its mounting face, measured in millimeters. A positive offset tucks the wheel in; a negative offset pushes it out for a wider, aggressive stance. Backspacing measures the same thing from the back of the wheel. Together they determine whether a wheel clears your brakes, suspension, fender liners and bodywork, at full lock and full compression.

Center bore

The center bore must match the hub or use precise hub-centric rings. A wheel that centers on the lug nuts alone can cause vibration that no amount of balancing will fix.

Load rating

Heavy trucks, especially 2500, 3500 and dually models, need wheels rated for the vehicle’s weight and towing. A beautiful wheel that is not load rated is unsafe.

Brake and sensor clearance

Big brake kits, factory performance brakes and TPMS sensors all need room. We check clearance before mounting, not after.

Cast, flow-formed and forged wheels

Cast wheels

Cast wheels are made by pouring molten aluminum into a mold. They are affordable and come in thousands of designs. Cast wheels are heavier and less strong than other types for the same design, which is why they are usually built thicker.

Flow-formed (rotary forged) wheels

Flow-formed wheels start as a casting, then the barrel is spun and pressed under heat to stretch and compress the aluminum. The result is a lighter, stronger barrel at a price between cast and forged. Flow-formed is the sweet spot for many performance cars and trucks.

Forged wheels

Forged wheels are machined from a solid billet of aluminum that has been compressed under enormous pressure. They are the strongest and lightest wheels available, and they can be custom made in almost any size, offset, finish and color. Forged monoblock, two-piece and three-piece designs are the choice for luxury builds and serious performance.

Why weight matters

Wheels and tires are unsprung, rotating mass. Reducing that weight improves acceleration, braking, steering feel and ride quality. Going up in size usually adds weight, which is why quality construction matters more as wheels get bigger.

Wheel brands we recommend, from value to luxury

KMC

KMC is one of the most popular off-road and street truck brands in the country. Their designs cover everything from classic machined finishes to aggressive off-road looks, and their quality and fitment data are consistent. KMC is a smart choice for Jeep, Tacoma, Bronco and full-size trucks.

Fuel Off-Road

Fuel is known for bold, aggressive truck and SUV wheels, including large-diameter and deep-lip designs. They offer one-piece cast options and forged two-piece designs for show trucks.

RBP

RBP (Rolling Big Power) builds wheels with a rugged, military-inspired style for trucks and SUVs. They are a favorite for lifted builds that need a tough look and strong load ratings.

Method Race Wheels

Method focuses on performance off-road wheels, including bead-lock and race-proven designs. For owners who actually use their trucks off-road, Method is a top pick.

American Force

American Force makes forged truck wheels in large sizes, with custom finishes and dually configurations. They are a premium choice for show trucks and heavy-duty builds like our Silverado 3500 dually build.

Asanti

Asanti offers luxury wheels for cars, SUVs and trucks, with both cast and forged lines. Their designs are popular on luxury SUVs like the Escalade, Range Rover and Mercedes G-Class, and on high-end trucks.

Lexani

Lexani is one of the best-known names in luxury wheels. Known for large-diameter designs in chrome, gloss black and custom finishes, Lexani is a go-to for luxury sedans, SUVs and trucks that want an elegant, high-end look.

Vossen

Vossen is famous for its clean, modern designs and its flow-formed and forged lines. Vossen wheels are popular on Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Porsche, and their forged program offers custom sizing and finishes.

Forgiato

Forgiato builds handcrafted forged wheels in Southern California, often in very large diameters with bold custom finishes. They are true statement wheels for exotic cars, luxury SUVs and show trucks.

HRE and Rotiform

HRE is one of the most respected forged wheel makers in the world, with a focus on engineering and lightweight performance. Rotiform offers distinctive cast and forged designs that are popular in the European and tuner scenes.

We help you choose by looking at your vehicle, how you drive, the look you want and your budget. We never recommend a wheel just because it looks good in a photo; it has to fit, ride and last.

Choosing the right tire for your new wheels

A wheel package is only as good as its tires. We match tire size to keep your speedometer accurate and to clear your suspension, and we match the tire type to how you drive: touring and performance tires for cars and SUVs, all-terrain and mud-terrain tires for trucks. We work with leading brands such as Michelin, Pirelli, BFGoodrich, Nitto and Toyo. For more on tire choice, read our guide choose the right tires that steer you in the right direction.

Plus-sizing, lifts and leveling kits

Bigger wheels and tires often go hand in hand with suspension work. A leveling kit can make room for slightly larger tires, while a full lift kit opens the door to 35″ and larger tires. Larger tires also change gearing, speedometer calibration and braking. We plan the wheel, tire and suspension package together so everything works as a system. See our Rough Country lift kit guide and our off-road services.

How we install a wheel and tire package

  1. Fitment check. We confirm bolt pattern, offset, center bore, load rating and brake clearance before anything is mounted.
  2. Test fit. On large or aggressive packages, we test fit a wheel and check clearance at full lock and suspension travel.
  3. Mounting. We mount tires with touchless or wheel-protecting equipment to avoid scratching expensive finishes.
  4. TPMS. We install or transfer TPMS sensors and program or relearn them so you do not get a warning light.
  5. High-speed balancing. Precision balancing on modern equipment; we explain why in our article on the Hunter Revolution tire changer.
  6. Torque. Lug nuts are torqued to specification in the correct pattern, never just hammered on with an impact gun.
  7. Alignment. We check and set alignment so your new tires wear evenly. Read why you need alignment and balance.
  8. Road test and re-torque. We road test the vehicle and recommend a re-torque check after the first 50 to 100 miles.

Protecting your investment

Luxury wheels deserve protection. Ceramic coating for wheels makes brake dust and road grime easier to clean and helps protect the finish. Locking lug nuts help deter theft. Regular rotation and alignment checks protect your tires. Pair your package with our ceramic coating services for a finish that stays clean longer.

Wheel finishes explained

The finish is what gives a wheel its personality, and it also decides how easy the wheel is to care for. These are the most common finishes and what you should know about each.

  • Chrome plating: the classic luxury look, deep and mirror-like. Quality chrome lasts for years with proper care, but it does not like harsh wheel cleaners or road salt.
  • PVD chrome: a modern vacuum-deposited chrome look that is lighter and more environmentally friendly than traditional chrome.
  • Gloss and satin black: the most popular finish on trucks and modern luxury vehicles. It hides brake dust well and pairs perfectly with blacked-out trim.
  • Machined and diamond-cut faces: bright, precise spokes against a painted background for a two-tone look.
  • Brushed and polished: common on forged wheels; brushed finishes show the grain of the aluminum, while polished finishes shine like chrome.
  • Powder coat and custom colors: durable and available in almost any color, including body-matched and candy finishes.
  • Two-piece and three-piece combinations: polished lips with painted or brushed centers, for the most custom look possible.

Wheels for luxury SUVs and EVs

Luxury SUVs and electric vehicles have special needs. They are heavy, so load ratings matter. Many use specific hub sizes, lug bolts instead of lug nuts, and tight brake clearance. EVs are also sensitive to weight and aerodynamics, which affect range. A heavy 22″ wheel can noticeably reduce range on an EV, while a well-designed flow-formed or forged wheel can keep the look without the penalty. We help Tesla, Rivian, Lucid, Escalade, G-Class, Range Rover and Cullinan owners choose wheels that fit correctly and keep the vehicle performing the way it was designed.

What makes us different: Riverside’s only shop with its own installer school

Mounting a tire is easy. Making a 24-inch forged wheel fit, clear the brakes, read the TPMS and ride without a vibration is engineering, and engineering is what we teach.

We are the only shop in Riverside that runs its own hands-on installer school. Our Master Car Audio Installation Boot Camp teaches students the craft inside our working shop: power and ground, wire gauge and voltage-drop math, signal flow, amplifier classes and gain setting with a meter, enclosure design, DSP tuning with an RTA, and professional troubleshooting. We also run car audio installation workshops, 3-day window tint and vehicle wrap courses, and MECP training.

Why does that matter to you as a customer? Because a shop that teaches the trade has to master it first. Every method we teach is a method we use on your vehicle, and our instructors are working installers who are on the shop floor the rest of the week. When you have to explain to a classroom why a connection, a fuse or a ground is done a certain way, there is no room for shortcuts. That is how we became the master of our domain, and it is why other installers come to us to learn.

  • 35+ years at the same Riverside location, with the same standards.
  • We train installers, so our own team works to a teaching standard every day.
  • Engineering first: we measure, calculate and test instead of guessing.
  • One shop for the whole vehicle: audio, lighting, security, tint, PPF, wraps, wheels, tires and suspension under one roof.
  • Flexible payments with financing and leasing options.
